2. Grading

Where possible, it is recommended that assessment is graded anonymously so that the grader is not aware of the individual student name. This helps to avoid any possible perception of bias within grading and supports the fair grading of student work.

Where more than one grader is used, Academic Policy Committee recommends that the same grader marks the same question/s for consistency.

Where grading is done by a Teaching Assistant, it is considered best practice that the internal moderation is not completed by the member of faculty teaching that course/stream.
